A Life of being a Student... Saint Agustin's Day

Patron Saints day is a celebration where in the students of every department in the University of San Agustin gathers for a cause and celebration. It is a special day because it reminds us of the death of our patron Saint Agustin. Everybody was so excited for this event most especially the students because this is the time that they can rest and they can enjoy. There so many events that took place in the celebration every department prepares for the competition and the best part is that our department was declared the overall champion. It was my last Patron saints day in school and I am glad that it was so memorable.

Let me share to you the happenings at our school:
Event # 1 - Search for the Mr and Ms. Intrams 2012.

It was a tough fight between the departments but the hailed queen came from the college of business administration and accountancy.

Event # 2 - The kiosk

All around the school and in front of alumni building. Well it is the best part of the U-day you can select a different varieties of food from different kiosk. The students favorite was the kimpao and this bbq. the patron saints days is not complete without walking down the corners of alumni building and buying some foods. I will miss this.

Event # 3 - Mass of the Holy Spirit

Every event in the school is not complete without heading a mass. The day was made special because of this mass it was the time where in God and people unites and in this event every student prays and every student unites. The mass was leaded by Archbishop Lagdameo it was special because he is the one who leads the mass.

Event # 4 - Salo-Salo

The most exciting part of all the event. Everybody was enjoying the event. What I love about this event is that our salo-salo s unique as you can see in the picture we are fighting for a one food in a one plate. It Budol Fight and we love it.!

Event # 5 - AYD Talks

Every students in every corner of the university participates in what we call AYD talk. Every corners of the school, in the admin building in the gym and even in the outside courts. We talked about unity and we shouted Viva CBAA...

Lastly cam-whoring with friends. Every time I think about my last days in school  I remember my friends, I remember the first days that we met and the first days that we talked to each other. I can't imagine that someday all of us will have our own lives and we were gone separate ways. The university had made everything possible it made me for who I am and what my purpose is. I guess you cannot live a happy life without moving on, all of us needs to go on even if we have to live each others shadows but I guess this strong friendship will never fade. I am proud to be an Augustinian and I am proud that they are my friends. VIVA CBAA, VIVA SAN AGUSTIN.!! Aim High
